An experienced and passionate team
Since its creation in 2004, SOTOKACC has been supported by a team particularly motivated by the company's project. Mainly female, the team was able to move from a manual workshop to a semi-industrial unit while retaining the skills and abilities essential to its ancestral know-how.
As and when the needs arise, we are strengthening its human base with more technical resources such as management, accounting and industry aspects.

"... of my grandmothers, I remember that typical smell, the warmth of their hands and the sweetness of shea butter ...
my skin has remembered it and since then I have been told that it is true: shea butter is one of the products that nature offers us which is precious and makes us more beautiful,
so I thought ...
this is what can help us out of poverty; I left the city of Bobo-Dioulasso where I was executive secretary, I returned to my village in Toussiana and I spoke with women ... so in 2004 I founded SOTOKACC. "

Agro-ecologist and educator in France, I found here with the shea, a little of my Cévennes, with its olive trees, its chestnut trees, and its generations of farmers.
From this universal energy that connects a tree and people emerges an extraordinary force of life, a sense of true things and the thickness of time ...
We bring all our attention and the necessary skills to these essential principles so that they are fully expressed and flourished in our products, always with deep respect for the environment and for people.
A structure at the service of your projects
The head office of SOTOKACC is located in the center of the municipality of Toussiana and is spread over a plot of nearly 10,000 m2. There we have offices, an extraction workshop and storage spaces for raw materials and finished products in buildings with a total surface area of 1,000 m2.
We are independent in terms of water thanks to a borehole 60 m deep, which allows us to have impeccable water quality.
We are connected to the national electricity grid and have remarkable stability due to our location outside a large urban area and on the interconnection between Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire.
Our situation is also interesting logistically, 1 km from the national road which connects Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire and 55 km from the rail and road logistics hub of Bobo-Dioulasso directly connected to the port of Abidjan.
Our materials are thus transported mainly by rail and sea.
